A Meddling Society

The benevolent city leaders that only seem to pander to the elites of people that only care about appeasing their guilt and meddling in the social natural order of things. It is a shame because it was not long ago, this city was a beautiful small southern city. It has problems and a history, but things that happened in big cities did not happen here and most of us who moved here from those places liked the way things were. At some point, the leaders of this city got in their minds to turn this place into a “vibrant metropolis” and this destroyed this little paradise.

I was only trying to take my disabled son to the bathroom, a bathroom that was always clean in most places in this city. No more, as I found out last week when entering a bathroom in a gas station near the beautiful urban concrete crap that had replaced every old building in the city only to appease these elites. It was a wakeup call, as my surprise and quick actions shielded my son from discovering the evil in the world. However, that also saved this imbecile from harm, for I decided to protect him over making a scene.

This man was in a public bathroom, masturbating in the stall and began laughing hysterically as he heard my son conversation with me as we entered the bathroom. This was an alarm that caused me to gently and promptly get out of the bathroom using a ploy to keep him from asking “why are we leaving….I gotta go…”.

He got lucky as he exited after probably finishing his workout, and slipped out of the gas station covered by a hoodie. I did not want to worry him by telling the people at the register since they could not do anything about it.

I have to instead enter the bathroom again, clean the entire place out (I carry hand sanitizer and other cleaning things because of him) in just enough time before he could not hold it anymore.

After that day, I will not go to any place in the eastern side of Gainesville, more specifically any gas station in the area of 13th Street from Williston road all the way to NW 23rd Avenue.

I only hope that people begin to realize that all these meddling policies that victimize people are useless because it will not bring any social justice or equality, and in this town the issue of homelessness  has never been addressed properly and right now there are no quick-fix solutions. I do believe this is a real problem, but in order to deal with it, we must make some hard decisions and take some even more hard actions to restore a balance that may bring possible solutions to the problem.

I’m Back…

After struggling with courses to complete my certification as a teacher, I submitted my last task last Friday and now humbly waiting for the feedback.

It has been a rollercoaster ride that includes, the end of the world, class changes, administration changes, and life.

It seems like more time than it actually took to complete (if this last task is good), and I feel drained from it.

However, the good news is that now I will have the time to contribute to this project regularly, or more often.

Thanks to all of you for having patience and your support.
